My bachelor's in journalism prepared me for finding facts and combing through research. My master's in creative writing prepared me for story-telling (the publishing ambition still burns bright). Ten years working in a creative agency prepared me for tight timelines, handling patchy briefs, and retaining the precise coffee order of 15 people.
Throw in a postgraduate diploma in marketing management and a mini-MBA from Marketing Week, and I round out the writing with a solid foundation on the businessy end.
